A belated Happy New Year! Hope we all enjoyed NYE whatever you were doing and wherever you were

Life is very disorderly at the moment, in a bit of a mess, must organise and fix it all ... will get to it eventually! Have to juggle work at the same time *sigh*
Hong Kong was great, the wedding was good, shopping was good, uhm.. yes!

Just finished reading "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak and I have to say that I loved it. Though sad at times, but still loved it. It's based during the time of WWII but the narrator of the story is death itself, it gives a really different perspective to everything.

Just put in some film for developing a few days ago and get it back today.. so will have a look at how it goes and if I'll print any (4x4 most probably) or if I just wasted the film lol *fingers crossed it turns out ok!*

Have to get up early... but I'm procrastinating anyways and not going to bed silly me.

new webcam is from HK disneyland.. I just had to take a photo of the place where you pick up "Lost Children" It's so... disneyland.

Uhmm... and I might be going to HK again soon.. it depends on the airfares and holidays and all that, and money that I'll have or won't have...

Personally, would love to go to New Zealand, basically just for an awesome photo trip with me camera and tripod

I watched Narnia recently and it's made me want to go back and read "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" again.. will get to it soon, I'm returning to my childhood bookswise recently, and just going back to all the books I used to read as a kid, and loving it
(The Book Thief being an exception )

Uhmmm... yeah! The weather is very sporadic of late actually. I had this blistering hot week before NYE .. 42C degrees and all, and now it's gone all cold and what not. *sigh* I'll never understand Melbourne weather, or is everywhere like that? But at least I can wear some of the clothes I bought in Hong Kong now! hehe yay!

Uhmm. I think I should stop typing and go to sleep. yes. mmm.

ello! hehe I'm typing this from Hong Kong in an ok "wintery" 23C degree day whilst it's a nice and boiling 34C day in Melbourne!
uhm.. hope everyone is well.. and yeah!
I am slowly getting used to the air quality (or lack of) here but it's Hong Kong so I expected as much.. been taking lots and lots of photos and doing lots of clips on my ixus 50.. got some photos on 300D too .. taking more tonight of some light show thingy I'm going to.
Am yet to go to Disneyland or ocean park but looking forward to it.. cause I'll go photo crazy

but I hope you are all doing well?

i try to avoid being run over everyday.. and can only marvel at the way people drive here. they are all crazy.
I would never EVER drive in Hong Kong no matter how confident I was lol and I thought some aussies were bad (well, many just don't know how to drive) people here know how.. they're just nuts

MOVIE MARATHON:

oooh.. did that last night, saw Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang & The Island
was fun fun.. got sleepy towards the end but turned out ok

BIRTHDAY:

that was a while ago. but from here onwards i'm not sure i want to celebrate getting older and older hehe
was cool though, got a big profiterole cake... yum!

HONG KONG:

forgot to add this to my title, but I leave for Hong Kong on the 24th Nov, coming back on the 21st Dec. Leave straight after exams! So I have no idea when to pack.. or what to bring (especially since my cuz is getting married o_O)
will figure it out..

And have recently developed a taste for rollups again (since childhood) hehe.. i'm such a big kid

Well i'm officially on my 2 weeks break, before I head back to uni and do it all again.
I've got a lot to do, especially photography wise, I'm going to Hong Kong at the end of the year too (yay!) haven't been in ~6 years which is a shame () but I'm coming back! () and going to buy a compact digital as well and take my 300D with me.

Need to buy another card for it too and battery for the compact.. I was thinking of getting the Canon Ixus 50, what do you think??

Got a lot of reading to do too, and to start my assignment to design a telescope... wheeeeee
And I'm in a cooking faze recently, hehehe there are muffins and other signs of this faze all dotted around the house

And I will promise to catch up on dA, but I've only really got another 1 and a half weeks left.
And you see, once I start uni again, my schedule is like this: Mon - Fri = University; Fri - Sun = Work

So you see, I have no life after breaks and holidays
